Announcing volume 26, no. 1
Welcome to a new general issue of AJVS! Here we cover late Victorian poetry (J. A. Symonds and Arthur Symons); little-known figures in the lives of prominent novelists (G. A. Henty's hidden collaborator, and an American couple who befriended Edward Bulwer Lytton); the correspondence networks of independent-minded Hunter Valley women of the early Victorian period. As well as reviews on women in Victorian photography, and the Australian writer Helen de Guerry Simpson.
Coming up later this year is a rich issue, the second of two on Pre-Raphaelitism in Australasia, guest-edited by Alison Inglis and co-edited by Meg Tasker.
Look out soon as well for an announcement of a special issue seeking contributions in a variety of formats.
