Abstract

This paper describes the experiences gained through implementing on-line courses for Engineering education at Murdoch University. It describes the procedure by which the School of Engineering embarked on the process of developing its entire curriculum as suitable for web-based delivery, and the important considerations that led to a successful implementation of this strategy. It also describes both good and bad examples of web-based delivery, and suggests future developments required to further enhance the learning experience.
