Keywords:A.D. Hope, poetry, landscape, theory
AbstractThe paper draws on three of Hope's poems that invoke the Australian landscape. Characterising hope as having a nomadic subjectivity it draws attention to the extent that Hope's work pre-empts contemporary theory.
