Charles is Vice President (New Zealand)Association for the Study of Literature, Environment & Culture with a long-standing interest in literature, cultural geography, environemtal history and indigenous rights, especially in Canada and Australasia. Previously a facilitator for the Waitangi Tirbunal on the major Wai 262 indigenous flora, fauna & cultural & intellectual property claim, Charles lives in Wellington New Zealand.
