Abstract

Hibbertia circinata K.L.McDougall & G.T.Wright is described as new to accommodate a rare, geographically restricted species in subsection Subsessiles of sect. Hibbertia. It is compared with H. linearis DC. and H. saligna DC., and its ecology and conservation status are discussed.
