Abstract

Spirituality is a matter of attitude. Most people have a bad attitude, believing spiritual formation to be a matter of committing oneself to some dogmatic religious formula and working hard to remain committed to it (e.g., 'thou shalt not steal' and 'harm no sentient being'). I want to offer a larger view. My view is that a good attitude is to think of spirituality as the by-product of assuming the role of a creator, that is, the role of god.
