VJ René, University of East Anglia

VJ René is a PhD candidate in Creative and Critical Writing at the University of East Anglia. Their critical research focuses on bisexual subjectivity in Swinburne, and they are currently working on a collection of poetry exploring the intersections of queer textual and fleshly embodiment, which will form the creative component of their doctorate. They are the author of two pamphlets of poetry: Scavengers (Salo Press, 2021) and HYDRA (Marble Poetry, 2020).
