  • Veronica Alfano, Macquarie University, NSW

    Veronica Alfano is a Lecturer in the Discipline of Literature at Macquarie University. Her first book is The Lyric in Victorian Memory: Poetic Remembering and Forgetting from Tennyson to Housman (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). With Erik Gray, she is the co-editor of Victorian Poetry: An Anthology (Broadview 2025). She is currently working on a monograph, forthcoming from Ohio University Press, titled "Victorian Poetry and the Reinvention of Language"; it examines neologisms in the work of Alfred Tennyson, Thomas Hardy, Gerard Manley Hopkins, Edward Lear, and others.
