  • Florenzia Bravo, University of Buffalo

    Florencia Bravo is currently a doctoral student at SUNY Buffalo who studies Victorian and Gothic literature, literary depictions of madness, and gender and ethnicity. She received a B.A. in English Literature at California State University Dominguez Hills with a minor in Creative Writing in 2024 and was awarded the Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship and Sally Casanova Scholarship. Her article, “‘Time is on my side’: Examining the Exploitation of Feminine Bodies through the Masculine Need for Immortality in Mexican Gothic and Dracula,” appears in the Macksey Journal (vol. 5, issue 1, 2024).
