About the Journal
Focus and Scope
Arts has traditionally published the inaugural lectures of newly appointed professors, together with other lectures and debates of general interest to alumni and friends of the Faculty of Arts. All thirty-two volumes have been digitised, and with only a few exceptions, copyright holders have made the material freely available.
When the functions of the Sydney University Arts Association were taken over by the University’s Alumni Office, the journal became inactive.
