Abstract

In the context of the elucidation of the ancestry of commercial citrus crops, a lectotype is here designated for Citrus cavaleriei H.Lév. ex Cavalerie (Rutaceae, subfam. Aurantioideae), a species found in China and India, and one of the putative parents of C. × junos Siebold ex Tanaka, the yuzu.
