Abstract
Growing numbers of first year students needing a firm foundation in Chemistry to successfully progress but, arriving at university with a wide range of subject and skills backgrounds. Successful implementation of student centred sessions that promote development of skills and subject knowledge via a shared experience model.......... ........but, it is a lot of work, takes time, and is resource and tutor heavy.
