Dr John M. Wright was a student of Vincent Buckley's in the 1970s and regards him as his mentor for a life of poetry. In this paper he explains how Buckley's poetry has worked in his own emotional and intellectual life and suggests that the poetic sequence, <em>Golden Builders</em>, has never received the recognition it deserves.Downloads
