Author Biography

  • María Pilar Royo Grasa, University of Zaragoza
    M. Pilar Royo Grasa is a Research Fellow at the Department of English and German Philology of the University of Zaragoza. In November 2010 she obtained the Master’s degree in “Textual and Cultural Studies in English”, after defending the MA thesis entitled: “The Ambivalence of the Chiaroscuro: Individual and Transgenerational Trauma in Gail Jones’s Sixty Lights”. She is currently engaged in writing her PhD on Australian writer Gail Jones under the supervision of Dr. María Dolores Herrero Granado. Her main research interests are contemporary Australian fiction, trauma and postcolonial studies.
