Keywords:
Laurie ClancyAbstract
This personal appreciation of Laurie Clancy as a book reviewer by a long-time academic colleague, in which it is suggested that he bridged the gap between the academy and the general public in a way that comparatively few Australian academics have managed to do, points to the extent of his critical reach and the sureness of his judgments, and suggests that his effectiveness as a critic is to be located in his open-mindedness.Downloads
