Authorship Criteria
Following the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research, an author is someone who:
- has made a significant scholarly or intellectual contribution to research and its output, and
- agrees to be listed as an author.
As a student journal, we moreover require that a majority proportion of the total intellectual or scholarly contribution by all the authors was completed by researchers who were current students at an Australian university, at the time that the research was completed. This allows for co-authorship with non-students, for example faculty members, graduates or colleagues.
