For more than 27 years ACSME conferences have brought together educators from around the country and beyond, to share good practice and discuss the latest developments relevant to the teaching and learning of science and mathematics. ACSME is a strong community of university teachers, educational researchers, tutors and students who share the joy, successes, disappointments and challenges of science and mathematics teaching at university level.
After two years of online delivery it is exciting to announce that the 2022 Australian Conference on Science and Mathematics Education will be a hybrid event with in-person attendance at the University of Western Australia, Perth, and also online participation.
The Conference theme is An Education for all: Accessible, Equitable, Sustainable.
The 2022 Australian Conference on Science and Mathematics Education will focus on providing an accessible, equitable and sustainable education. As technology, the environment and the job market constantly change, how can education adapt to better prepare students for their future? To add to the challenge, increasing numbers of today’s students come from more diverse backgrounds than in previous generations. There is a fine balancing act for educators trying to maintain academic standards and provide an accessible, equitable and sustainable education.
